Website Launch Checklist: Devices, Forms and Business Features
The final checks for PC, tablet, mobile, forms, stored data, bookings, waitlists and third-party connections.

Check the layout on real breakpoints
A page should be checked on PC, tablet and mobile widths. We look for horizontal overflow, clipped images, text that becomes unreadable, buttons that are too small, menus that do not open and layouts that collapse when the screen gets narrow.
The goal is not to make three screenshots look good. It is to make the complete customer journey usable at each size.
Test forms and stored data
Submit the contact form with real test data. Confirm required-field messages, confirmation messages, internal notifications and stored records. The business should be able to find the enquiry in its own account and understand what happens if an email is delayed.
Test business features as a customer
For an appointment flow, test available times, service selection, confirmation and cancellation rules. For a queue or waitlist, test joining, status changes and staff notifications. For payments, use the provider’s test mode and confirm the success, cancellation and failed-payment states.
Maps, calendars, email services and AI assistants are also tested with their production credentials and real page links. A connection is not considered complete just because a widget appears on screen.
Review the first week after launch
During the first week, check form submissions, booking activity, notifications, broken links and the most visited pages. This catches issues that only appear after a real customer uses the site. The client receives a short handover explaining where to view requests and who to contact if a core flow needs attention.
